The Research Journey:
Triumphs and Tribulations on the Road to Research
After the success of our 2014 conference, we are in the process of developing a publication representing some of the excellent talks and discussions that took place around the theme of 'The Research Journey'. Please contact Prof. Liz Browne for more information about this publication and the SoE conference 2015.

Conference
The Research Journey:
Triumphs and Tribulations
on the Road to Research
Friday June 27th 2014
9 – 4 pm
Keynotes
from: Professor John Furlong and Dr Alis Oancea (University of Oxford,
Department of Education)
We
invite presentations from those at different stages of ‘the research journey’.
The intention is to be inclusive – to
invite contributions from researchers who might be just setting out on their
research journey (and therefore still considering issues of ‘what’ and ‘how’),
as well as those who are more experienced (and able to share final outcomes and
recommendations from a rigorous study (say), or offer a well justified
‘thought’ piece).
We aim to accept
a range of presentations, papers or posters for this conference. If you have
any queries about whether or not your contribution would be appropriate please
contact one of the conference committee.
The
conference committee also welcomes symposia from research groups (that is, a
collection of short papers taking juxtaposed views on a particular issue).
All paper
presentations should be 20 minutes (with up to 10 minutes for Q & A).
A symposium
should last up to 1 hour.
Please complete and submit the pro forma
(below) if you intend to present.
It is expected that all papers will be collated into a
collection and published through the SoE.
